Barron Motorsports: Rattling cages in Pro-4

Piloting his meticulously prepared, Rancho Performance/LAT Racing Oils Toyota, Eric Barron had the factory teams scratching their heads as he mixed it up and scored a podium finish during Lucas Oil’s Off Road season opener at Firebird Raceway just outside Phoenix. In doing so he fired a warning shot across the bow of everyone in Pro 4 Unlimited letting them know this privateer had the potential to be a real spoiler during the remainder of the series.
Barron lit the fuse with a 3rd place finish on Saturday. During the final on Sunday Eric made his move toward the front early only to be nailed hard in the rear by LeDuc who was subsequently black flagged for the incident. Having sustained suspension damage Barron fought through the mayhem and madness, managing to pull off a hard fought 4th overall which placed him 2nd in points heading into the next event.
Both Rancho and LAT have been working closely with Barron Motorsports providing state of the art driveline components, horsepower enhancing lubrication and technical support. What this team has managed to accomplish when faced with the seemingly insurmountable assets of the factory teams has made Eric a crowd favorite and given other privateers a much needed boost.
Keep an eye on Barron during the Pro 4 Turf-Wars at www.ericbarronmotorsports.com and be sure to get your name down early to purchase one of the RC10, Barron/LAT Racing Oils R/C race trucks. The very cool RC trucks will be available direct from Barron, RC10 (www.rc10.com) and their dealers worldwide.
