27 Feb Triple Crown Racing Series Presents Pro Eliminator Points Series
Races will be held at Both Drag Days and Bug-In.
Pro Eliminator will be a Championship Points Series with a chance to win
Cash, Trophies, and Hats.
Along with those Prizes, 1st place, will also receive a Custom Jacket.
Winner of the Championship will be guaranteed $1,500.00
2nd Place is guaranteed $1,000.00.
3rd Place is guaranteed $500.00.
The cash winnings will grow, depending on how many racers participate.
Pro Eliminator Class Rules
Bracket Class for cars running 8.49 and quicker on a 4 Tenths “Pro Tree”.
Body & Chassis:
Any VW powered or VW bodied car allowed. Fiberglass body, dragsters and tube chassis sand rails allowed. Any tube frame or VW pan allowed. Center steering allowed in sand rails and dune buggy type vehicles.
Engine:
VW bodied cars may use any engine. Non VW bodied cars must use VW engine. May be air or water cooled, turbocharged, supercharged, fuel injected or carbureted. Engine may be located in any location.
Transmission:
Any manually shifted VW or Porsche transmission allowed. Automatic transmissions allowed.
Fuel:
Gasoline, alcohol and nitrous allowed.
Electronics:
No electrical devises such as delay boxes or timers may be used. No device that functions to operate the vehicle may be used.
Qualifying:
All Pro Eliminator racers will receive 2 to 3 qualifying runs depending on the event format.
#1 Qualifier will be the entrant with the best Reaction Time during qualifying. The first racer with the best reaction time will by the #1 Qualifier.
1st Round Eliminations will be random drawing. The winning racers will be placed on a Sportsman Ladder in 2nd round. The ladder will be set by “Reaction Time” during 1st round of eliminations.
Staging:
Courtesy staging will be enforced.
Class Entry Fee
$25.00 plus event entry fee.
Points
Each Round…20 Points (Must take tree)
Winner………20 Points
#1 Qualifier….10 Points
Perfect Light…10 Points (Bonus)

Also to avoid some ties – there are going to be extra points given:

1st Qualifier 10 Points 6th Qualifier 5 Points
2nd Qualifier 9 Points 7th Qualifier 4 Points
3rd Qualifier 8 Points 8th Qualifier 3 Points
4th Qualifier 7 Points 9th Qualifier 2 Points
5th Qualifier 6 Points 10th Qualifier 1 Point
So if there are 15 cars in the class, then the points would go from 15 to 1.
