Off road and sand machines from all out professional race machines to awesome mega horsepower weekend warriors have been a focus of the High Pdrformance team at Rancho Performance Transaxles even before formally opening our doors nearly 30 years ago. Here’s a classic early shot of Sam Shackelford, co-founder of Rancho, doing his best to explode one of his early HP of-road trannys. No he couldn’t do it and that reputation for superior performance and reliabllity remains today.
