McGrath sweeps Glen Helen

Note: Jeremy relies on Rancho’s  in house special projects division and automatic guru, Harold Carter, for his high performance transmission and third member needs.

Jeremy McGrath has competed at Glen Helen Raceway on 2 wheels and 4 wheels for the better part of 3 decades. This last weekend the former Supercross and Lucas Oil Offroad Champion had his best performance to date.McGrath qualified first both days, lead every lap both days and took back to back wins! This type of dominance only happens when everything falls into place and the team is clicking.

Jeremy had this to say after the weekend sweep. “ I’m extremely happy we were able to come into our first Lucas Oil race of the year and sweep the weekend.

I have to say I’m not totally surprised, we worked very close with Maxxis Tires and ICON Vehicle Dynamics on set up to get the most traction possible on this slick- rough track.

The guys over at Rancho Performance Transmission helped us find the perfect combination of gearing and Vic Hill Race Engines gave us a solid motor package. My team at JM2 Motorsports is incredible and always puts in the hard work. They pay close attention to detail with zero mechanical issues, and that how we got it done!

I want to also thank Brock Heger Motorsports for inviting me to the event and having us pit with him. Brock also had an amazing weekend sweeping the production UTV class and posting a 1-3 finish in his Pro Lite. Thank you again Glen Helen Raceway and all the So Cal fans that came out to support us!”

Jeremy McGrath Motorsports will be taking some time off from short course until the 2020 season resumes. You will be able to find the team riding motocross and driving the new Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. Follow us @jeremymcgrathmotorsports for news, events and times we will be at the local track.
