13 Apr California Festival of Speed 2016
As Rancho followers are well aware, we have a very sophisticated, state of the art Porsche transaxle division. Rancho has been providing dedicated Porsche enthusiasts nad shops with the very finest in remanufacturing, race prep and custom build services for nearly 3 decades. In 2016 high demand for our Porsche services has forced us to expand the division and become more “hands on” in the Porsche Motoring and Racing lifestyle.
Most recently we set up shop at the world renowned California Festival of Speed. Held at AAA Raceway in Fontana, California the event traditionally draws Porsche enthusiasts, race cars and unique Porsche vehicles from around the globe. Unfortunately for the 2 weeks leading up to this years Festival weather forecasters were predicting heavy rain and windy conditions. Come Saturday skies were major league threatening and attendance was only about half that of previous years. That said Porsche has a very dedicated and hardy, family like following and the event was heavily attended by hundreds of enthusiasts, spectators and race teams sporting some of the finest race and street machines. Additionally a high profile vendors row including names such as Momo, HRE, BBS, RaceTech, FlowForm, GMG, Lucas, Rancho and many more was a major attraction for participants and spectators alike. Check out our photo gallery and make plans to attend next year’s Festival of Spreed. Its a great time for any automotive enthusiast. Would make a great run for SoCal VW clubs.
