Requests for unique custom transaxles for use in a wide variety of sporting and specialty use application are common here at Rancho. They provide a nice break from the norm for our experienced technicians and give them a chance to put their decades of learning and ingenuity to work. The beauty you see here for example was crafted for use in a very high tech Bonneville streamliner. Many hours engineering and fabrication went into just about every aspect of the trans from the billet single live axle drive to a custom billet spool, hand crafted billet side covers and solo inboard Wilwood disc brake it was a very cool project that functioned as well as it looks.
