03 Jan MR. Bug-In’s awesome 2012 Fladeboe Beetle
Check it out. Rich Kimball, Mr. BugIn, paid Rancho a visit recently with his fresh 2012 Beetle. Actually the new Beetle was provided by long time VW enthusiast supporter FLADEBOE VW, www.fladeboevw.com/. This was the first time we’d really gotton a close look at VW’s latest and it’s one fine ride. 
Initially I had thought the top had been seriously chopped but upon closer inspection it looks more like the roof came down about an inch and the doors were extended up about 3. 
The new and somewhat aggressive lines make for a muscular, masculin package that goes well with the smooth, brisk performance. 
The 2012 Beetle is offered in 4 base versions with a laundry list of standard and optional equipment. Base models include the 2.5L with a suggested MSRP starting at $19,795, 2.5L w/Sunroof starting at $22,295, 2.5L W/Sunroof/Nav/Premium Sound at $24,095 and the 200 HP Turbo Beetle from $23,395. As noted these are factory suggested start prices but I’d be willing to bet Flateboe and most authorized VW dealers would be happy to make you a rockin deal.
