No matter if there is obviously an issue or not whenever you have your transaxle out, for any reason, make sure you check condition of the starter and cross shaft bushings. If they’re condition is questionable at all, replace them. Only takes a few minutes to remove and install a new bushing which costs less than a couple quarts of oil. We have all 4 replacement bushings shown available in the Rancho store. Prices are $5.00 for each of the starter bushings and $10.00 for the cross shaft bushing
