Now that’s a sanitary conversion. Just received these photos and a little information on Mark LaCombe’s Hot Rod ’73 Super Beetle we did a Pro Street trans for recently.
It’s a 1973 super beetle with a Subaru EJ22 SOHC non turbo, Rancho Performance PRO STREET IRS trans 3.88 ring and pinion.
Empi front and rear drilled and slotted disc brakes and adjustable rear spring plates with Maxx Struts by Top Line Parts
Porsche turbo twist wheels 17×9 with 255/55.17 rear and 17×7 front with 205/40.17 powder coated black.
interior is pretty much stock with EMPI low back front seats
Teto Solar Beetle ragtop Britax style from Legacy Products.
Color is Subaru sunshine orange.
