1968 Bus Cores

1969 – 1976 Bus Cores
Bus cores must be complete and have a good Case, Bell housing, Ring & Pinion, and 4th gear in order to receive your full core credit.
1976 and later Bus Cores
Bus / Vanagon Cores must also have a good Mainshaft (1-2 gears), bell housing, case, Ring & Pinion and 4th gear to qualify for full refund.
Swing Axle Cores
Cores must be factory 12v to receive full core credit, not 6v grind out (converted to 12v), may accept unmodified 6v.
T-1 IRS/Swingaxle Cores
Cores must be in good rebuild-able condition with a good case and no corrosion, rust, water, breakage, or low oil conditions such as burned or galled internals. Rancho reserves the right to refuse or discount any core unsuitable for full core refund.
Shipping
You are responsible for your core return shipping cost, Rancho can schedule a pick-up via UPS and deduct that cost from your refund if a refund is given. Typical shipping within the U.S. excluding Hawaii and Alaska is around $90.00, some areas may differ in cost, please call for a quote.
